OnDemand3D Application

OnDemand3D Application generates 3D volume from 2D CT scanned data and provides images for dental use such as Panorama, CrossSection, TMJ Sagittal, and Coronal. You can use the reformatted images for diagnosis, treatment planning and surgical planning. OnDemand3D Application can handle every digital dental image. With this powerful but easy Application, you can generate and store the image that you want to visualize in no time. From every module, you can capture the image that you generated and you can create a movie clip.

These are the main features of OnDemand3D Application.

Dental Reformatted images

DVR provides images for dental use such as Panorama, CrossSection, TMJ, and Orthodontics. You can make an accurate plan for implant surgery with these reformatted images.

You can do accurate implant planning with nerve marking and verify layout and you can simulate with actual implant model of major implant companies (3i, Bicon, Camlog, Straumann, Zimmer, Friadent, etc.)

Fusion

If you want to compare two sets of DICOM data, Fusion is the answer. With OnDemand3D Fusion technology, you can check the changes between the two data sets.

  • Comparing pre-op and post-op data for general surgery
  • Observe the teeth movements during orthodontic treatment
  • Comparing implant planning data with actual implant surgery result

OnDemand3D Fusion technology also enables you to stitch two CT data sets, seamlessly. This feature is useful for CT with small FOV to create bigger volume. Both vertical and horizontal stitching is possible.

OnDemand3D Fusion technology is registering two data sets automatically by using mutual information of two data. For more information on OnDemand3D Fusion technology, please read the following document.

XReport

XReport is advanced customizable report tool of OnDemand3D. XReport provides tools similar to Microsoft Power Point which you can insert text, images and simple drawing objects. From OnDemand3D, you can insert images to XReport by simple drag & drop operation. Created report is saved in database and you can upload the report to OnDemand3D Server to share it with other users. XReport can be used for the following purpose.

  • Write diagnostic report
  • To manage and archive case data with DICOM images
  • To share educational data by uploading XReport to TFS(Teaching File Service)

XReport supports true size paper printing and film printing and report can be saved as DICOM format.

Segmentation

With convenient segmentation tools of OnDemand3D Application, you can segment out the area from the volume. You can change the visualization option on the segmented area to emphasize the area.

  • Segment Maxilla/Mandible (TMJ)
  • Segment airway and sinus to measure the airway volume

Comply with DICOM 3.0 Standard

OnDemand3D complies with DICOM 3.0 standard. By using DICOM communication protocol, OnDemand3D can query, send and retrieve data from PACS server. You can also backup or transfer data by using DICOM CD write function. DICOM CD created by OnDemand3D contains complimentary CD viewer to view data inside the CD without OnDemand3D. CD viewer is not just a DICOM image viewer but you can also view project file with full features of OnDemand3D available to you. OnDemand3D can convert not only captured images but also general graphic images. Thus, OnDemand3D can be used as DICOM conversion gateway to store data in PACS efficiently.
