OnDemand3D Server

OnDemand3D Sever provides a way to access your data at anytime, anywhere.

You can upload original DICOM data and project file to OnDemand3D Server and this data in OnDemand3D Server is accessible from anywhere with OnDemand3D Application/Viewer and internet connection. OnDemand3D Sever uses JPEG2000 algorithm to compress the DICOM data which reduces data transferring time as well as storage space.

OnDemand3D Server is useful for dental clinics which have massive CT scan data or for dentists who need to communicate with other dentists. OnDemand3D Server provides centralized data storage solution which enables you to access your data from anywhere in your office and even in remote site.

OnDemand3D Server uses 3D progressive streaming technology to retrieve DICOM data which is stored in remote server quickly. Its unique progressive streaming technology enables you to view the data as you receive it. As you receive more data, image quality becomes better. If you use FTP to view the data which is in remote server, you need to wait until the whole data is received.

The following images are example of progressive streaming technology. This example demonstrates the time it took to retrieve 528 slices of DICOM images with 640x640 resolution. DICOM images are in Austin, Texas and we accessed the data from Seoul, Korea. Distance between these two cities is about 6500 miles. Even from this distance, we could get enough data to examine hard tissue within 40 seconds.
